Rural Arts does it again with Visitors!!!

28176

A fantastic time was had by all at the Village hall on the evening of Friday the 21st November. Visitors a hauntingly beautiful play, which one moment had you laughing and the next moment had you close to tears, was a real highlight of the year. Linda Bassett (Calendar Girls) and Robin Soans (The Queen) appeared with Simon Muller and Eleanor Wyld in a play, set on a farm on Salisbury Plain, about dementia and it's effects on families, the play was written by Barney Norris and directed by Alice Hamilton. It was beautifully acted, and kept the audience engrossed throughout, it was a real pleasure to see such a fantastic play, before it appears at the Bush Theatre, London, starting it's run on November 26 2014 and ending on January 10, 2015. Massive thanks have to go to Brian and Jo German for all their hard work in getting this play put on at the Village Hall. What a treat it was, I can't wait for the next "Rural Arts at the Village Hall" event.
