Rushall Church of England Primary School resumed after the Easter holidays on 11 April. The month leading up to Easter had been a busy time, with Reception and Key Stage 1 classes visiting Sevington Victorian School in the first week of March, to experience a little of what life was like for children in the Victorian period. The whole school enjoyed Book Day on 10th March and took the opportunity to dress up as a favourite book character. One of the highlights of the term was Shakespeare Week, in particular the school’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The term finished with a pilgrimage by the staff and students to Rushall, Upavon and Charlton Churches, which was a fitting way to prepare for Easter. After school activities continue to thrive at Rushall, including the choir, which began last term and already has a core of strong singers. Rushall School has places available for the 16/17 academic year. Please give the School Office a call on 01980 630360, visit our new and improved website or see our Facebook page for more information.
