The children of Rushall Primary School had a busy and very active few weeks in the run up to the summer holiday! Parents and guardians joined staff and pupils for a day of orienteering in the fields around the school on the 7th of July, which was a good warm up for Sports Day on the afternoon of 9th July. The children ran their hearts out, really getting into the spirit of these two events. The following week saw artistic creativity replacing sporting endeavour, with an open afternoon of songs and poetry performed by the children. The end of the academic year was marked by a leavers’ service and picnic at St Matthew’s Church Rushall, followed by the end of term service at St Mary’s Church Upavon. The staff and governors hope all our pupils and their parents had a peaceful summer break. Rushall School has places available for this academic year. Any parents interested in the School should call the office on 01980 630360 for details or visit the school website or Facebook page.
